WDW Radio UK fans meet 15 October 2011

Hello all my fellow Disney Brits :yahoo:

WDW Radio UK Fan Meet

Saturday 15 October 2011 – the fun starts at 1pm

Meeting outside Candy Cakes, Kingly Court, off Carnaby Street, in London.

We have a reserved area in the restaurant (C’est ici) and will be able to order from the delightful Candy Cakes menu...so don’t forget to bring your pennies for those fab cupcakes!!!! :yes:

There will be Disney themed goodies bags so make sure you get there early :thumbs:

Every guest will receive a complimentary raffle ticket; prizes include WDW Radio audio guides, Celebrations magazines (including the very first issue), and other Disney related items.

We'll then take a trip to the Disney Store on Oxford St for a tour with a manager, shopping, and maybe a little Disney magic!!

I can’t wait to meet some of my WDW Radio friends for a fun Disney themed afternoon. Plus....if any other fans from around the world just happen to be in London on that date we'd love for you to attend too!!!!

As per PM I am soooo coming even if it clashes with friends engagement party!!! In fact Im logging off here now and booking a hotel :-)

I can't give a definite yes just yet, as I am planning a big weekend in London the weekend after for the International Series NFL game between the Tampa Bay Bucs and my team the Chicago Bears!! But if I can afford the travel I will be there!!

Just realised the meet is the weekend after the Disney Princesses visit Kensington Palace too!!

Work permitting I will be there, it will be a nice Disney "Fix" after having been back a couple of weeks from the home of the mouse. A chance to talk to Lou as well, WOW!

Last time I was in the Disney Store in a Oxford Street I had a heated conversation with a CM over a vinylmation!

I know :no: I tried to get tickets for this but unless you have young children or you're a celebrity it's going to be difficult to get in!

Ah, thanks Jamie :) Not sure if we'll be organised enough for the box people this time but if it goes well then we could invite the box along next time :thumbs:
