So I have been seeing all of these grass roots meets start up and then bloom into these big events. I have never been to anything like this before. But I think it would be a ton of fun to do something like this. I am not sure what people's interest in this would be but I think it would be neat to explore. Certainly we wouldn't have to have something big. But it could be fun to get a group of all us Disney fans in one place. If you have any interest in this let me know in the thread.
I live in Jeff, and would be interested in doing a meet in The Lou.
What do you have in mind?
I have not really thought of a format. But I see all of these other things and wonder if there is an appetite for it in St. Louis. I would think that we could get together for some pin trading or things like that and maybe have some discussions and things like that. I would think that if we charge money for something like this we could get a speaker like Lou to come out. Or maybe Ridley Pearson. He is a St Louis guy.

I'm not a pin trader.
I think the downside here is that there doesn't seem to be a lot of people from any given area, so it may be difficult to get a gathering of significant size together.
