Northeast Fan Meet 2006 - Who's Going??!

I will be there with my Mom, who is not as big a Disney Nut as I am.
We live in Delaware, so we aren't staying overnight. But we will be there by 10 Saturday morning!
It will be easy to remember our names, we are both Bernie!

Getting ready to head to bed relatively early tonight and set on out tomorrow morning for Allentown!!! Looking forward to seeing/meeting you all there! I'll be in and around Friday if anyone wants a shirt/lanyard before Saturday! (Lou hopes to see LOTS of blue shirts and yellow lanyards in the crowd!!!). I'll likely have one on, or you can try and hunt me down in my room if you like. (bring snacks )

Maybe the hotel will have your cheesecake waiting for you in the room

I think she finally understands now and has moved on from going to Disney to "swimming in the pool INSIDe the hotel".

Oh Lori that's too precious! I had a similar conversation with my 5 year old daughter...she kept saying "We're going to a Disney MEET not DISNEY WORLD, right Mom?" Like she had to be sure because she was hoping we were really going to WDW! So how old is your DD Lori? Perhaps we'll see you in the Kids Room!

I need to visit this board more! I just got back a few hours ago and had another great time! I recognize so many of you from the Meet! I was working at the registration table (the DWT luggage tags ) and with my sister and niece in the kid's room with temporary tattoos, face painting and bead necklaces.

Hoping to see everyone again next year!

So we finally made it back home!! We of course had a late start because everyone was so tired. The we stopped at the Lost Caverns, The Pez museum, and The Crayola Factory. We get to 287 and there is a bus fire, we get to 84 and there is road work. A 4 hour drive turned into a 13 hour adventure.
But we are home, the kids are happy because they had a blast, and Ray is going through Disney withdrawal because we have not been this year. So I guess that is next on my list of things to do...

Thanks again everyone!!! It will take a few days but we will try to e-mail everyone their table photos asap.

Hi again all!!!

This is such great news...everything ran so smoothly thanks to ALL the volunteers! You Rock!

I'm going to write a HUGE thank you naming all who helped us make this a fabulous year and will post it for all to see...

Yes, we are already planning the next one!

Fred will be putting together a survey, we need ALL the input you can give us...the good and the bad. The survey last year's attendeed filled out helped make this event a success as well. We are listening, I've already got ideas & will be throwing them at Fred every chance I get.

It was fabulous seeing all my old friends and wonderful meeting all my new ones

What a GREAT time! This was my first Dismeet and it was great fun. The one down side was that my DD6 ended up being sick. I took her directly to the hospital last night when we got home and found out she has strep throat (again). She's feeling much better now. Other than that she did have fun trading pins and playing a little bit in the kid room.
