Come join The NFFC during their World Convention in Orlando on a tour through Expedition Everest like never before. A lucky group of guests attending the National Convention at the Swan Hotel will board a bus to Disney's Animal Kingdom at 6:30 am on Sunday, October 1st to meet with three Disney Imagineers for a personal tour of Expedition Everest. The tour includes three thirty minute presentations about the concept art of Everest, the Yeti and the landscaping of Disney's hottest new attraction. Guests will also take a guided tour of the queue with all the significant details pointed out and finish by riding Expedition Everest before the park opens. The cost is an extra package to the convention at $130 dollars. At this time no money is due, but please email the NFFC if you are interested in registering for this event.

*Subject to park restrictions signed by Walt Disney World and inclement weather. The tour is also subject to cancel if the minimum number of registered guests is not met.

Lou, do you need to be a registered attendee of the convention to participate? That phrasing "The cost is an extra package to the convention" makes it sound like you might have to pay the convention costs too. Or not???

I don't believe you have to have registered for any other events, but I will double check

Here's the official line (direct from the NFFC President):

In an effort to get additional people onto the Mountain, NFFC Members ($24 family membership per year) can participate in Everest without going to the convention.
