My partner and I are planning on a visit from Dec. 27-Jan.8. Anyone know how the weather is then?

December is mostly a great time to visit the parks the first few days of your visit will likely be quite crowded as the week between Christmas and New Years is the busiest week of the year but since your vacation extends a full week beyond that you may get the best of both worlds, since the more crowded days are more likely to have extended hours and full staffing. But you were asking about the weather since your trip is in both dec and Jan I'll give you the information for both months.

Dec. Avg. Daily low 51°
Dec. Avg. Daily high 73°
Dec. Avg. Daily temp. 62°
Dec. Avg. Daily humidity 76% (the only months lower are Jan to May)
Dec. Avg. monthly rainfall 1.9 (only lower month November)
# of days of rain per month 6 (ties for lowest # of days)
Jan. Avg. Daily low 49°
Jan. Avg. Daily high 72°
Jan. Avg. Daily temp 61°
Jan. Avg. monthly rainfall 2.1 (third lowest)
# of days of rain per month 6 (ties with Dec., April, and Nov.)
So you can see at times it may be a bit cool, especially in the morning, but the upside is the relativly low chance of rain.

Just make sure you pack a few extra clothes for colder/warmer weather. I use to live in Florida, and have been through winters that were over 90F, as well as below 40F.

One thing you will note if the weather is cool (60's) or slightly cold (50's), the natives will be bundled up from heat to toe, and visitors from "up north" will be in shorts and t-shirts, and maybe a sweatshirt. I guess your metabolism changes after living in Florida for a lenght of time. I can't wait to find out!!!

Oh yes, the holiday decorations usually stay up through New Year's Day until the following weekend, which next year is on Jan. 2, 2005.

I will be at All Star Music Dec 16th-21st with a chorus group. We are singing in the processional on that friday. I will mostlikely be the guy on the very top row of the right side facing the stage (Thats where I was last year when we sang). If anyone is will be there then and would like to meet up then PM me.

Wow! Everyone seems to be going in December! My DH & I are taking our trip in Jan! I'm so excited becuase I haven't been since my honeymoon! (Aug. '03) We'll be staying at the All Star Movies Jan. 14-16 & All Star Sports Jan. 17-23! Will anyone else be waiting till after the new year to go "home"?

I will be headed back home in Jan 05 - the 13th thru the 18th to be exact. taying at Saratoga Springs - hope its kinda warm!!! Anything is better than the 6 inches of snow today in CT !!!
