    There was a thread up on this last summer. We figured out you can make your own for about 100 (medium value rhinestones) + the cost of the ears. I dont remember where I saved info at but there is a woman on another board who posted some that she had done. Granted she had most of the rhinstones already so her cost was next to nothing. Beautiful work tho. I came up with the alternative of using sequins. But instead of individual ones, use the kind that are strung together in the wide elastic bands. You can sew them on and change them out depending on the holiday (green-st pats, red-valentines, etc)
    They werent as pretty as the $1,200 ones but still nice and sparkly in the semi dark
