View Poll Results: Would you interested in doing an Ornament Exchange

I have seen these exchanges on other boards and thot if they can do it why cant we. I would like to know how much interest there would be in doing an Ornament Exchange for the Holiday Season. I will post more details around the beginning of November if there is enuf bodies willing to participate. Keep in mind that the site owner (HI LOU!

) the moderators, and other important and not so important people would not be responsible for any issues to do with any type of exchange. Like the saying goes :"ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK"

i voted! speaking of ornaments.. every year we get a new one as a family.. so when i go to disney this year i wanna get one.. so where in the WORLD can you find the best christmas ornaments??

Christmas ornaments and decorations can be found year round at Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Liberty Square in the MK. There's also a large Christmas store in DTD Marketplace, if I remember correctly. I think it's in the general vicinity of the World of Disney store.

I kinda borrowed the idea from a few other sites and tweaked it to hopefully make it work on here so I am a bit fuzzy too as of yet. Basically you sign up for it, give some info via PM's to the hostess(THAT"S ME ;-D ) and you get assigned a person to send one to.

we do gift exchanges all the time on our mommy board.. its lots of fun!

one person takes everyones info them they give each person a person and then you pick a gift or ornament whatever the exchange is for.. we have done pj's and hat's and plate's and all kinds of things...LOL and then mail it to them by a certain date.. we only let members who have been around for a long time join in..

I have the details all written down but didnt want to confuse everyone and I wanted to see what kind of interest there would be in it. I figured since Minnie's trip is doing so well this might have a chance too.

I think it sounds like great fun. I love the Christmas shop in DTD. Chrissy- they will even personalize an ornament for you. The only problem is, they are always backed up. So, if you can, go there on your first night and pick one out and then they should have it finished by the time you leave. Of course, then I hand carry it onto the airplane just in case...

Well we have some interest so far. Hopefully we can get more folks involved. If a lot dont want to then we can do it where instead of getting one person you can opt to do all of them. More like a GS swap where you make 10 things and trade them with 10 others. It is still in the baby steps stage so nothing is set in stone yet.
