Disney stamps set for June 23 release

WASHINGTON — A set of four postage stamps and other mail products featuring Disney characters will be issued June 23.

First day of issue ceremonies for the stamps featuring Mickey Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck and other characters will be at the Disneyland amusement park in Anaheim, Calif. The ceremonies will be open to a limited number of guests. Reservations can be made starting Friday by calling at 1-800-5-MICKEY.

The 37-cent stamps, 23-cent postal cards and printed stationary that comes with 37 cents of postage, and can be folded and mailed, will go on sale nationwide the following day.
