3-D is so rare nowadays I don't see how you can pass it up. My wife and I will be seeing the 3-D one today and I can't wait.
My fiance and I are planning to go see Meet the Robinsons tonight.
I just looked up the showtimes for our theatre and I noticed, we could go see Meet the Robinsons, or we can go to Meet the Robinsons in Disney Digital 3D.
Which one should I pick???? I had no idea they were even showing it in 3D!!

now when they say 3-D, is it all in 3-D or is it just a few scenes. cuz i saw Superman Returns in "3-D" and it ended up being like 4 scenes were actually in 3-D.

The 3D Version does cost more, but you get really cool glasses and I hear Digital 3D is awesome....I wouldn't know `cause I went to see it to day and 20 min after it was supposed to start they cancelled the showing...The projector broke.![]()
How can you find a theater that plays MtR in Disney Digital 3-D? My friend and I are DYING to see it in 3-D and the only IMAX theater around is in Ft. Lauderdale and it's not playing there.

The 3Ds are not in Imax, they are in the regular theaters.
Just search for the movie title as Meet the Robinsons in Disney Digital 3-D.
The entire movie is in stunning 3D. They also include a 3D version of a classic Donald Duck short. Don't be disappointed watching the short, though. As neat as the 3D Donald short looks, that's not the quality of the 3D you'll see in the main feature.
And it's not the 'throw stuff in your face' 3D trickery that you see in the theme parks. This is much more subtle for most of the film. You'll see it right in the opening scene - looking down a street in the rain, you'll see the rain falling all the way down the street. Sometimes things leap off the screen, but most of the time it is more like the screen is a window you're looking through into another space. It feels natural. Hard to describe, but amazing to watch.
Tickets do cost more - around here, the adult tickets for MtR in 2D is $10.25, and in 3D it is $12.75 at the same multiplex. I've seen the surcharge for the 3D run between $2 and $2.50. But, yes, you get to keep the glasses.
If the 3D version is available near you, I would definitely recommend seeing it. It is on about 700 screens nationwide.

I didn't know they were showing two versions. Around London it's $27.00 a ticket. I may take my chances and wait to see it when I get home in 2 weeks.

I ended up going with the 3D one. It was not crowded at all and it was absolutely wonderful! So glad I chose it!

See it in 3D. That's what I'm seeing it in.
