I LOVED this movie.

I actually cried in it.

It was such an amazing movie.

I loved EVERY second of it.

those characters are my two favorites, so thats great! And I can't wait for the dvd to come out! That will be a great christmas gift, of course i might not be able to wait until christmas to get it

I'll actually be in WDW when the DVD is released, so I may just buy it there...I am assuming the stores will be well stocked with them???? Or I may pre-order it before I leave...I have plenty of time to decide.

This was the corniest movie of the 3. Very undeveloped plot, and come on, a Pirate Council?!?!?! KIETH RICHARDS!!!!!!!!!!! disgusted.

To be honest, I have yet to see it. I guess I have some catching up to do!

This was THE MATRIX all over again. The first movie was so good. SO GOOD. I thought it was one of the best adventure films in a long time and one of the most clever and witty action scripts ever.
I liked the 2nd film enough. Wasn't nearly as good as the 1st, but some wonderful set-pieces. (Davey Jones is my favorite character of the entire series.)
The final script was bad in every way that the original film was not. This was a loose, rambling, barely coherent mess with characters who weren't 1/2 as endearing or precious as they thought they were. I'd say the turning point for me was the resolution of The Kracken. (Non-spoiler) I was wondering how our heroes would put that beastie down once and for all, and the big moment happens off-camera, by someone who would never do what he did, and it's still never explained WHAT was done to defeat it.
But this was typical for a movie that changed its direction on a whim. (Need more proof, think of the resolution of Calypso's story.)

To quote "Ask A Ninja": "They loaded about 4 or 5 different screenplays into a shotgun and then pulled the trigger and then sent a P.A. around to just pick up random words and piece them together and then hand that to the actors. And then even that script was lost about halfway through shooting, and then the director just made it up every day."
