I liked, it but it wasn't my all time favorite movie. I think it was better than #2, but the middle movie of a trilogy is usually a pivot between one and three. Each main character had their own agenda/storyline which made it tough to keep it all straight, but it was good. I look forward to seeing it again on DVD to catch anything I may have missed.

It was so long...
The delirious Johnny was funny but so not necessary. (and what was up with those kooky crabs?)
I really did like it, though- it was just too much.

I think it could of been done better. TOO much special effects, less is more.
We are going back in late June for 8 days 7 nights. Only taking husband and number 4 son. Very nice!

Liked it. I thought Calypso could have been developed better and the fight sequence is waaaay too long! I don't understand the crab thing either.
-
The crabs were Calypso's pets. If you remember, when the Black Pearl is comming over the sand cliff with Jack, she has one of the rock crabs in her hands and is petting it and smiling. And when Calypso turns into her giant form, she bursts into a bunch of rock crabs. So I'm guessing they were sent by Calypso to aid Jack.

If you look closely, after the rescue party arrives on the shore and the boat is the ocean, the crabs disappear beneath Tia Dalma.

I see i stand alone with the whole 'best movie i've ever seen' thing.. but then again the next three should be interesting.

I thought it was better than the first two. I loved the scene with the malestrom. I also liked how they put the actual recording of the audio animatronics after they went down the waterfall.

I thought the movie was good, but not the greatest. I still want to see it again, but will save my money, since I spent more than I thought I would for the movie. If you go to Wikipedia and/or look up POTC 3 in your search bar, go to the Wikipedia link and it's more thorough on the storylines. The only thing I really didn't like in the movie was the excess violence (the hanging in the beginning, Jack stabbing Jack, etc.). I like action movies, but some of it I'd be skeptical on letting my children see (that is, if I had any). The movie had really good plot lines and twists, which I did not expect at all. Other than that, it was a good movie.

Did anyone notice that Jack Sparrow has never killed anyone in all the POTC movies.(Other than Barbossa of course)
-
It was pretty good, not as good as the first two, but good. It got a bit confusing.

We made it a family trip to the theater and man, did we have a great time! Though not my all time favorite movie, I thought that it was very good.

I'm going to see it, hopefully next weekend.
Do any of you recommend getting advanced tickets and getting to the theater early?
