We were there on opening day. They came in before the movie, asked the kids to show their stubs and gave them a free watch. They stood at the doors and handed them out as the other children came in! It is a blue, rubber strap with a picture of WALL-E and Eve stamped into it. The movie logo is also stamped in the back.

I just went to see it again tonight. I did notice lots more the second time. I saw the Pizza Planet truck, I saw the People Mover sign, and I noticed a carousel horse that looked alot like the one from Mary Poppins? It was in Wall-E's truck. And I have a question for you guys. What was the ALERT that happened on earth twice before Wall-E went up in space? Once he was by himself and then it happend while Eve was with him. There was a flashing sign outside that said ALERT and then a sandstorm or duststorm or something like that starts rolling across the land. What was that?

I saw that! Haha!

Wall-E became a favorite of mine very quickly. I have to agree that it may be the best movie Pixar has put out. It is full of wonderful messages of love, friendship, social responsibility and the future of mankind.
If you haven't seen it, it is a MUST SEE!!!

What I got from that is the WALL-E bots are programmed to shutdown to prevent damage to themselves during a sandstorm. I guess Earth would be prone to them once all the land is dead, any amount of wind would cause one.

Just got back! It was one if not the best Pixar movie I seen. It was so realistic and funny. I found the Pixar "Easter Egg" (Pizza Planet truck). It would have been cool to have it in 3D. The short before the movie was great too! I almost cried when WALL-E didn't start up and when he had a "lapse."

Thanks, makes sense to me. My friend insists that there was a nuclear war and that is why earth was in such bad shape. But I don't see it like that. I just couldn't figure out what the ALERTS were.

The general theme of the movie is that human's destroyed their planet with too much trash and had to leave because of it (hence the whole "we're digging you out" and coming back in 5 years thing). Based on that I don't believe your friend is correct.

To me Wall-E was a great love story! Wall-E and EVE go through great lengths for each other. True love!! I was bawling at the end too.
I need to find me a Wall-E plush!
