Ed Asner does the voice, and I'm pretty sure he's not in CoP.

Whoever could you be referring too?

I think I would have enjoyed it more in 2-D. This was my first full length movie in 3-D and I have to tell you I don't like it. I think it's the glasses. I've never had to wear them and I don't wear sunglass because they annoy me.

The 3D was great, but not an integral part of the story. I didn't cry like so many others have, but I did tear up a couple of times. Haven't heard when it's due to be released in the UK. I didn't get the connection to WDW guests, but I'll keep that in mind when I see it again. I liked listening to the laughter in the theater because sometimes it was little kids and sometimes it was adults.

I did find a release date of Sept 3rd for the UK. I have seen a lot of these staggered release dates, but that one really is late. We'll be looking for the DVD version by then!
What are the hidden treats? I did notice the ball from Toy Story and I think I saw a hidden Mickey.

A113, the Pizza Planet Truck, a character from Toy Story 3, and a reference of a zip code were all there too. Plus others. There is a blog somewhere that has them all posted.

I may have been mistaken, but one of the clouds that Carl and Ellie are making shapes out of appeared to look like Dumbo. Anyone else notice this?

I think I saw a hidden Mickey, too. But I was so taken in by the story that I didn't remember to take note of it!

Thanks guys, I knew where to go to settle their dispute! DD won that round.

My daughter played hooky yesterday so I took her to see it. Didn't see the 3D version but I liked it non the less.

    Brilliant movie....here's my review:
Disney's Folly: Things Are Looking Up!

I honestly think Pixar is operating on a completely different level than any other animation studio. I mean these guys are making animated features that easily blow away live-action films.

I saw it and loved it! Not in 3-D though, I figured if I have trouble seeing in 3-D the parks not to try it in theaters.

This 3D technology is supposed to be more advanced than what they have in the parks. From everything I've heard, you shouldn't have trouble with the Digital 3D. Hopefully somebody who has seen it in 3D can confirm that, though.
