It was great, 3D was well done, the story was touching, and the animation was suburb! Not to mention the short, Partly Cloudy, that was excellent!

    Re: Up!

We went yesterday afternoon and were a little leary about the extra 3 dollars for the 3D glasses... It was well worth it. There were no "in your face" 3d effects, it was used primarily to add dimension to the depth of the film. At $10,00 per person it was a bit pricey, but now we will have to decide because a few of the previews looked pretty cool in 3D. If you have the option, I would highly recomend Up in 3D. Either way, bring Kleenex.

The film looks great! My favourite part of the trailer is when the house takes off - all those balloons!
Does anybody know when this film will be released in the UK?

Just quick question...did anyone see the picture at the end of the wilderness explorers when they looked like a tour group outside of "south america"?? My brother and I wonder if that was a little tribute to our favourite summer visitors at the World haha

    Re: Up!

I was so taken up with the story, that I didn't see any of the Pixar hidden "treats". Guess I'll get to look for them after the DVD comes out. I loved the story. The 3D was great, but not an integral part of the story. I didn't cry like so many others have, but I did tear up a couple of times. Haven't heard when it's due to be released in the UK. I didn't get the connection to WDW guests, but I'll keep that in mind when I see it again. I liked listening to the laughter in the theater because sometimes it was little kids and sometimes it was adults.

I did find a release date of Sept 3rd for the UK. I have seen a lot of these staggered release dates, but that one really is late. We'll be looking for the DVD version by then!

    Thanks for the review!

I absolutely loved this movie. It was emotional, funny, and gripping. Sad to say my theater doesn't do 3D , so I wish I could have experienced that!

By the way, I laughed so hard at the Alpha dog!!! (I won't give any spoilers, but, man, was that funny!)

Kids came back and are wondering if Carl Fredricks (the voice) is the same voice of the Dad in the current CoP?
