I purchased the book in Downtown Disney the evening of the signing but was too late to get it signed. I did see Ridley and Lou at the table though, so not all was lost. I used this as my fly home to Seattle book, then finished the next morning.
The book is fun and exciting. As I read the series I couldn't help but think that this story will be told on film at some point and those characters will be the new Disney Stars (just like High School Musical, etc.). Whether the movie hits the big screen, or is shown on the Disney Channel, or is a straight to DVD show I will be watching.
Disney, are you reading this?!?!
Good job Ridley and Dave.

I'm a late arrival to the Kingdom Keepers series, but I ordered all 3 on Amazon. I got them in the mail on Friday (the 23rd) and started on book 1. I finished book 3 on Sunday evening, and I can't wait for the next book. Has anyone tried the online game? It's not that difficult to play and it does actually connect to the books, especially if you remember the more underling characters.
If you like Kingdom Keepers check out the Starcatchers series by Ridley Pearson and Dave Barry. They are a pre-quel to Peter Pan and very good, there are 4 books in that series.

Tried the first Kingdom Keepers book and didn't care for it at all. Thank goodness I happened to be in the library that day and decide to borrow it rather than buy it. I'm pretty sure I'd still be kicking myself today, a year or so later. Maybe this latest installment will be better. Back to the library, I guess...
i finished it, and i did the KK3 for my book report for school. it was amazing! i love the suspense it keeps you in the whole entire series. thats what makes books interesting to me. if you ask me, it is well worth the money for the books. it really does take your imagination on an adventrue and really makes you think if any of this is actually real or all pretend. It seems so real sometimes its amazing. My favorite part was the fight on the stage at the end :P
