For anyone who hasn't see it yet, do yourself a favor and go as soon as possible. Another amazing movie from Pixar. I'm at work right now in the projection booth, and all the projectionists just received TS3 t-shirts from Pixar that say "digital projection team" on the sleeve!

What did you think was wrong with it?

I think I might have had too high of hopes for it. I knew the toys would be given away in the end, but it just didn't seem like a fitting last movie to such the journey that these toys had over the course of 15 years.

You'd think that after two movies, the toys would learn to listen to Woody the first time. Individually there was funny parts, like when Mr. Potato Head was a tortilla and all floppy. Hilarious. Some of the lines were hilarious. "Well FAO my Schwarz"

I guess when it all comes down to it, it didn't seem like a finale. It seemed like a regular movie. The basic basis of all three movies are all the same. Still a good movie though.

If it seems like I'm struggling to find the right words, it's because I am.

Yeah the ending was a little predictable. We knew the toys wouldn't die or end up in the attic. In regards to listening to Woody though, I'm surprised he was still a leader for the toys after the first two. His actions in the first 2 seemed to have led to most of the troubles they went through. His jealousy of Buzz in the first one led to the problems the toys faced in that film. Then in the second one he was willing to leave the rest of the toys and most importantly Andy for a chance to be loved by strangers in Japan. I actually thought it was a fitting ending to the series though. It was expected but I thought it was done very well. The beauty of Pixar though is everybody has a different favorite Pixar film. This one ranks right behind the original Toy Story as my favorite Pixar films go for me.

This movie showed the kind of relationship the Woody and Andy had. In Toy Story, Woody was all but forgotten about by Andy when he got Buzz. In this one, he was packing up everyone but Woody. He was going to college with him

Which I think makes it easier for the other toys to really not care much for Woody's opinion since Woody was not going to have the same fate as the rest of the toys. It is easy for Woody to say, "be there for Andy" to the other toys since he is the one being taken to college. The other toys though felt abandonment because they were just tossed in a bag. That's just why I think the toys did not want to listen to Woody.

I think we need to get Lassie in here to tell us the reasoning behind all of their movies

We really liked the movie, as we do all of them!
I'm probably in the minority here, but as far as the end goes, it gave me a happy feeling and made me smile - not teary at all for me.....Andy was OK with it all, and the toys got to continue on with Bonnie for the rest of her silly-fun imaginative childhood. And ya' just never know.....there may still be room for some more of those silly-fun Disney/Pixar adventures with the toys and her...!

I thought it was a happy ending as well. It was sad but happy at the same time for me. I thought it was the perfect way to finish it. I really hope this is it for the Toy Story movies though. I will be looking forward to the short in front of Cars 2 featuring the toys and I hope they continue on through short films but the movies need to end on a high note. Now Cars 2 I am worried about though. I liked the first one but I am worried the second will not be as good as the last few Pixar movies.
