Re: Toy Story 3: 90 Reviews all positive

I think the ending was what MADE the movie. The movie was good, but the ending was perfect. It's ended exactly how the series should end in my mind. And it was sad and happy all at the same time, I had a huge grin but was sobbing buckets hahaha (I cry in every movie though :P ). And you can say it's predictable, but I thought that they would all stay in a closet and then one day Andy would have his own kids and bring them out, or while watching the movie I thought the end would have a big goodbye between the toys with Woody leaving.
I think it makes sense that Andy picked Woody to come with him- ya, buzz was the new toy for awhile and Andy was caught up and seemed to forget about Woody, but even by the end of the first Toy Story you realize how much Andy still loved Woody- and Woody was clearly HIS toy with more emotional value to him. So he wanted to keep him, and I agree that the other toys weren't listening to him because well, he clearly still had a place with Andy and the daycare sounded wonderful to them! Plus remember that in their mind they were being thrown in the trash, and they were probably a bit jealous of Woody not being with them.
I dunno, the only bad review I've read so far was the one on Rotten Tomatoes by the guy who wrote it just to bring the rating down (he clearly had not seen the movie, as he though that Hamm was the villain and was too scary for kids haha).

No need to say what 2 parts, I already know. I managed to hold it in but it was tough. I just need to mention too that I am 25 and I wanted a Buzz Lightyear when the first one came out and never got one because I was getting past the toy stage of my life. But last Christmas I bought myself the Toy Story Collection Buzz which is pretty awesome. So even as a 25 year old I'm still buying toys, but I handle them much differently now than I did 15 years ago.

I'm 47 years old and am a part-time CM at our local Disney Store. I have a Buzz Lightyear keychain hangin' from my car mirror and I wish I had the disposable cash to upgrade and acquire some of the larger action figures. I obviously didn't grow up with those movies (and apparently still haven't grown up-at least not in that way!
) but we took our kiddos to the first and second movies when they were young, and I guess, other than the fact that they're just plain good movies, I have a bunch o' sentimental attachment to them, as well...!

I wish they'd put bloopers back in the end

Saw TS3 a few weeks ago and loved it. It was certainly better than the first two.

Me too! My dad and I watched the whole of the Wall-E credits and we got really confused when there were no bloopers. They used to be the best bits. Haha!
I'm really looking forward to TS3, it comes out here on the 19th, nearly a week away!
I'm so excited!
