I dunno. This gnome movie looks like another film that Dreamworks forgot to put out.
I have to agree with you on this - I think a lot of people are overly harsh on many of the more recent Disney animations. I'm also a big fan of Brother Bear and I also really enjoy some of the other under-loved films like Treasure Planet, Emperor's New Groove, Atlantis, Dinosaur, etc.

I disagree. I watched this (awful) movie on my flight last Thursday and the music was horrible and completely unmemorable. Not a single stand-out song on the soundtrack. Remember back when Disney's music actually got airtime on commercial radio?
I really, really liked the movie (I own it), and the more I watch it the more a few of the songs grow on me... but The Lion King and the Little Mermaid didnt need to grow on me, I remembered them and they were stuck in my head constantly. I mean, how many people can sing the songs from those movies (some guy I work with who doesnt particularly like Disney at all was singing a Whole New World today) and how many people know the Tangled songs? My Fiance's mom knows every word to Part of Your World and Kiss the Girl and yet shes never seen the Little Mermaid. They're just really not comparable...
