Brother Bear was phenominal, the animation and background animation was superb! I guess its just beacuse my kids have been watching all of them so much and we have great memories of going to see those movies. However TANGLED really has that early 90s feel to it that I think Princess and the Frog was lacking a little bit. I cant wait to get the Blu ray and watch it a few more times before we go to WDW in June!!
I have to agree with you on this - I think a lot of people are overly harsh on many of the more recent Disney animations. I'm also a big fan of Brother Bear and I also really enjoy some of the other under-loved films like Treasure Planet, Emperor's New Groove, Atlantis, Dinosaur, etc.

I dunno. This gnome movie looks like another film that Dreamworks forgot to put out.

As soon as the movie ended I could vividly remember exactly what happened when each song was song, but none of the lyrics or even how the tune went... not very memorable.
I know I'm late responding to this post... but I don't know how you could say that! I respect your opinion, but the music was SO catchy to me!! I bought the soundtrack and I can't stop singing the songs!! XD

I disagree. I watched this (awful) movie on my flight last Thursday and the music was horrible and completely unmemorable. Not a single stand-out song on the soundtrack. Remember back when Disney's music actually got airtime on commercial radio?

I really, really liked the movie (I own it), and the more I watch it the more a few of the songs grow on me... but The Lion King and the Little Mermaid didnt need to grow on me, I remembered them and they were stuck in my head constantly. I mean, how many people can sing the songs from those movies (some guy I work with who doesnt particularly like Disney at all was singing a Whole New World today) and how many people know the Tangled songs? My Fiance's mom knows every word to Part of Your World and Kiss the Girl and yet shes never seen the Little Mermaid. They're just really not comparable...

I concur. Can't Disney do any better than a shreck lawn ornament rehash?

Don't forget that Toy Story was also Disney presenting another studio's film.

At least they kept their name far away from that lovely little Mars Needs Moms film that was in the theaters for about seven and a half hours.
