I read similar on Stitch Kingdom and it certainly sounds plausible for a good story.
I stumbled across this a day or so ago and was wondering how true or not true this was. Does anybody know ?

Awesome !
So it's a prequel.

Yeah ! Which means no update that involves Boo , but at least we get to see these characters again. I think as long as you have characters that people love, going back to them from time to time only makes sense, as long as the quality is there. There is a such thing as overfishing a hole. That has not happened with Pixar's beloved cadre'.

Boo is an interchangable character. You can throw any small child in there and the story would work fine. For me, Monsters Inc was one of the more forgetable Pixar movies, up there with Wall-E and Ratatoullie, only with a weaker story line.
i hope this happens! i loved Monsters Inc. and i think the movie didn't get the press and popularity that it deserved!

I watched MI for the first time in years last night and I forgot how much I loved it.![]()
I was babysitting a little Disney fan and we watched Finding Nemo right after that because she saw Boo had a Nemo doll in her room in MI.

I liked Monsters, Inc. a lot (and have actually grown to appreciate it more over the years), but prequels in general turn me off a bit. I'll obviously see this, just because it's great Pixar characters, but I just wish it wasn't a prequel. There's typically a lack of suspense in such movies that makes them a little less than compelling for me. However, if any film studio could prove me wrong, it's Pixar.
