Looks like Mars Needs Moms did even worse than people expected.

I've gotta say, when I first saw the trailer for this one, I was surprised by how poor it came across - you expect a Disney film to have a certain quality about it and MNM's was not bringing that at all...

When I first saw the trailer, I didn't realize it was a Disney movie. Oh well, I guess it will join Home on the Range on the shelves.
That's a big oops!

That piece of cr..cinema was made by Disney? How sad. It was so generic and formulaic I thought for sure it was done by Dreamworks.

You might be, I just didn't care for Home on the Range. We saw it advertised at the Studios on our annual trip that year it was released. It was out of theaters and on DVD before I ever took the kids to go see it.
Some things are just better off straight to video.

I feel bad for the animators on the movie. I mean, you go to a movie and it's two hours. You make the movie and it's two years. They were probably making it thinking to themselves "Geez, this suc*s!"

I saw this on opening day with my 7 and 9 year old sons, and we actually liked it. Its certainly no "Meet the Robinsons" (and can't hold a candle to ANY Pixar film) but it was definitely worth seeing.
That being said, the three of us were in a theater with just 7 other people for a 3:30pm Friday showing. They certainly could have presented it better ahead of time!

i took tayen on opening weekend because it had double movierewards points...lol and i was so disappointed in disney because of it.. the graphics of the movie were awesome! but the story line was awful.. man hating aliens sent the boy aliens to the **** part of the ship while the girl aliens were raised by bots that they stole the disciplines out of moms and put in the bots..
it was a crudy story line and it didnt catch my attention at all.. me and friend talked through the whole thing.. it had like one or two funny moments.. but so not worth the big screen... dvd release at best.. but to think this flick came from the disney line and history is a pitty.. its so not up to disney's name
