I'd say most of us have read all 4 of the books. Book 4 was the first book in the book club here at WDW radio.

Really love to read good Disney fiction. When it is written by authors who love and respect the things that are so important to Disney fans is fantastic to read.
The Kingdom Keepers are fun, I think you will enjoy them. Like others, I also have read all 4. I enjoyed the action in number 2 and 3 as being the best of the series...but all are good. Number 5 in the series comes out in the spring, I am anxiously looking forward to it.
They are written toward teen readers but are good and I believe adults like the stories as well.
I have suggested this in other threads, I love The Key to the Kingdom by Jeff Dixon. This is a mystery thriller that is written for adults, although it is a great read for teens as well. Like any fun Disney story you don't have to worry that your teen will read something that would make you uncomfortable. The book is set in Central Florida with a lot of the action happening in the WDW Resort.
I highly recommend all of the above as great fiction, especially for Disney fans !
Enjoy and Read On!![]()
I <3 KK! I am def. a Philby phan!
Kk forever!
I am a huge fan of the Kingdom Keepers series! I'm reading them again to read the newest, Shell Game. I am currently in KK IV: Power Play and I noticed something interesting that I wondered if anyone else caught. I am in chapter 4 and on page 128. The description of Judge Frollo sounds a lot like Captain Hook. In the book he, Frollo, is described as such:
I have noticed little inaccuracies here and there while reading them again. I love them too much to criticize them harshly, but having a description and name of two different characters is just a tad bit unfortunate. Anyone else notice anything like this?a man in a red velvet dinner jacket, beneath which was a frilly white shirt and a pizarrely large black bow tie, the tails of which disappeared into the velvet. His pants were three-quarter length, tight around the calf, and puffy on his upper legs, with hook-and-eye laced brown leather boots spit-polished to gleaming. He had long curly hair--a wig perhaps--beneath an exaggerated hat like those worn by the Three Musketeers.
