I think Toy Story 2 is the worst of the TS movies.
I liked Up
Toy Story 2 is definitely my 5-year old son's favorite of the Toy Story series so I guess it makes sense to me. As a result I've seen it more times than I can count and I can tell you that I think the biggest reason it has the popularity it does is because it added the feminine appeal with Jessie and Barbie. Little girls suddenly like Toy Story (vs. the first in the series which was really more "boy"). DS loves the first movie too but there is something about the 2nd one that he just adores. Literally for about 6 months straight he watched it every single night.
We got TS3 and I thought for sure he'd switch to that but he's watched it once and refuses to again because he is terrified of the cymbal monkey. :lol:
Up is definitely one of his favorites as well so glad to see it at #2. 4-11 are also some of his favorites. So... from a mom's point of view I think this list is dead on... though I am surprised to see it in agreement with my son on the #1 spot. I always thought it was just him. :)
Tangled beat the Little Mermaid, seriously? I'm really shocked and disappointed that The Lion King didn't even make it to the top ten...I can't believe The Incredibles made the top 10.
I'm surprised Beauty and the Beast didn't make it into the top. I think it's a great movie. I was also disappointed that Lilo and Stitch came in so low. I love that movie! And a lot of weird movies beat it; I've never heard of My Dog Tulip.
