I realize it's a different book. But the movie's commercial doesn't look any different to me than any of the other films did.

All at the Disney Store in Chicago all the Oz merchandise is drastically marked down. Even the Glinda costumes are dirt cheap in comparison to the other costumes within the store and Halloween shopping approaching.

It really shocks me that Disney isn't taking a closer look at the movies they consider releasing, and then the merchandise that goes along with it. Wreck It Ralph. Haven't seen it, though I heard it was decent enough for what it was. Came and went, and yet there is STILL a ton of merchandise in Walmart. Why would you even make a Wreck It Ralph doll or action figure? Honestly, who is going to buy that stuff? Hulk Hands were HUGE when they came out for the first Hulk movie. Disney tried to capitalize on that with Ralph hands, but they didn't move. I'm still bumping into old Tron toys every now and again. So what exactly were they hoping to sell from a horrible movie on Oz?

I was looking forward to it. Didn't get a chance to see it at the cinema, so we bought it on DVD. Wish we hadn't....Wasn't too thrilled with it. Disney definitely could of done better.

I have zero intention of seeing this one. I've heard nothing but bad things about the movie. The one thing that kept me away was the insane amount of promotion they did for the movie before it came out. Heck, they even built it into Flower & Garden and no one had seen the film yet. Whenever they start to push these films too heavily, you know it can only mean bad news.

Great. Disney sure has had their share of clunkers the last few years. Not a fan of the volume of remakes or I II or III's they are relying upon. It works sometimes, but more often, not.
