I just hope it has Captian Picard in it, I always enjoyed him more than Kirk.

That is so something my wife would say...If she knew who Picard or Kirk were!

Actually, it is a very simple type of magic.

    (1) Bring in people who know how to make a film.
    (2) Get out of their way. And . . .
    (3) Let them get on with it.

Which is why people are hopeful about the upcoming "Star Wars" films.

    Director/producer J. J. Abrams
    Executive producer Kathleen Kennedy
    Screenwriter Michael Arndt
    Creative consultant Lawrence Kasdan

All of whom, at least in Hollywood, are highly regarded. Plus bring back alot of the old cast froim the previous episodes, who are rumoured to be in the next films. And base the next films on a story treatment by Geroge Lucas, which has been seen by Robert Iger, CEO of the Walt Disney Company, Alan Horn, Chairman of Walt Disney Studios, and Kevin Mayer, Executive vice president for corporate strategy. All of whom seem elated by what they have seen so far.

As for whether we will be elated . . . We'll apparently have to wait till 2015, when episode VII is expected to be released.

Since there's no real story about teh movies yet, it's way too early to write these off.

I don't think anyone HAS written them off yet. Where did that come from?

Yeah, I don't get that comment either. Did somebody delete a post, or something?

More likely someone misread the post before his own.
