Quite frankly, I'm surprised DDM let this one fly...

Drifting back to the on/off topic again...
Back in my day we had vocational schools (at least, her in Texas). I took drafting for 3 hrs. a day my junior and senior years in HS.
We were already doing construction documents for a local builder the last half of my junior year to make money for our drafting club.
I got a job with a local firm 3 months before I graduated HS inking brochures for one of their builders at night. When I graduated HS that summer they hired me full time. Left that firm after 2 years and moved on to another. I got layed off for 3 months in the mid '80's, and also for 4 years in Jan. of '09 from a firm I had worked for for over 20 years. BUT, both times, so did THOUSANDS of other people with college degrees. I'm now back with that firm in my same old office and kicking architectural beeeeehind. Some of us learn best in a working environment, some of us don't need to, or want to go to college (although, I did interview with the school of architecture at UT, and all was looking good) to succeed.

Yes of course. And if that does well we will get a trilogy of fictional time travel movies where Walt travels to present day, vanquishes Eisner and convinces Stan Lee and George Lucas to come aboard the family.

    And more Mary news:

A Mary Poppins fountain featuring the penguins will be at the Villas at the Grand Floridian!

    Some people are like Slinkies.

They aren't really good for anything,
but they still bring a smile to my face when I push them down a flight of stairs.

Friends are Gods way of apologizing to us for our families.
