Kids win 'Kim Possible' renewal charge
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 29 (UPI) -- Fans of the Disney Channel's "Kim Possible" have convinced The Walt Disney Co. to reverse its policy of limiting animated series to three seasons.

The company announced Tuesday it was renewing the popular cartoon for a fourth season, MediaWeek.com reported.

Fans mounted a "Save Kim Possible" blitz that included petitions as well as an online write-in campaign, MediaWeek said.

The show has been a top draw for the Disney Channel, Toon Disney and the ABC Kids daytime programming block, MediaWeek noted.

Production on season four will begin in the next few weeks.

Is three seasons equal to 65 episodes? If it isn't, is the 65 Episode Rule still in effect?

There are 22 episodes per season, so 3 seasons = 66 eps technically. The 4th season will have 22 new episodes.

I was hoping for this too. KP is by far my fav show on the Disney Channel. And since Raven was brought up, does anyone else seem to think that show is on ALL the time? it seems that about 8/10 times I turn on the TV, That's So Raven is showing (somtimes 3 straight episodes before anything else comes on). I dunno... maybe it's just the times I get to watch TV. I do like Raven, but I like variety too.

Well, I'm just glad to see that Disney Channel has stopped the 65 episode limit!

Now they can put a real talk show in there (none of the Super Short Show nonesense...) and not have to worry about the 65 epsiodes.

Hey! I like Mike's Super Short Show... or rather, it should be Sally's Super Short Show. She really is the main character after all. And I had to laugh that they needed a double to dance for Mike in that recent one with the dance off. What a laugh!
