I thought this would be a new ride in WDW
Got this email from my brother today:
"Here's a pretty neat bit 'o news for Jack Skellington fans: Looks like the Pumpkin King will be blazing on the silver screens once again this Halloween, in 3-D no less, which will use the same digital process as CHICKEN LITTLE did last year.
Any excuse to put NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS on the big screen again is a good one, and the CHICKEN LITTLE digital 3-D was fanastic."
release date is Oct. 20, 2006 according to http://www.comingsoon.net/films.php?id=14092

The happy haunts have received your simpathetic vibrations, and are begining to materialize. They're assembling for a swinging wake, and they will be expecting me.I will see you all a little later
I'm Mister White ChristmasI'm Mister SnowI'm Mister IcicleI'm Mister Ten BelowFriends call me Snow MiserWhat ever I touchTurns to snow in my clutchI'm too much!
That would be an interesting idea - it's a popular enough film, but in an almost cult sort of way. Probably not "family friendly" enough.Originally Posted by jarmitc2032
I did see the 3D Chicken Little, and the technique is impressive. With all the work put into Nightmare to create the look of 3D in 2D, it should really look great in the new 3D film. Even sitting in stationary old movie theater seats.![]()

The only question I have is why?
Because it's a good movie, it's Halloween, and it will probably make a nice pile of cash for the company?

It would sound better if it was a new storyline.
Another reason I belive for this special edition is that I am almost positive that it is the movie's 13th aniversary. What better aniversary for a halloween movie

Oh, good catch! You're right, DarGoku, the movie was originally released in 1993.

this gives me something to live for after I get back from my Disney trip.
If we can dream it, we can do it
Awesome! I am so psyched! I'm obsessed with NMBC. Last year both our Halloween and Christmas were NMBC-themed.
"To all that come to this happy place: Welcome. Disneyland is your land. Here age relives fond memories of the past, and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future. Disneyland is dedicated to the ideals, the dreams, and the hard facts that have created America... with hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration to all the world."
This past Christmas IMAX theaters re-released The Polar Express in 3-D a year after the original release in normal theaters. I saw it both ways & have to tell you the 3D experience was unreal! It looked like it was snowing in the theater! I was happy to pay the extra money to see it a year later. That's just my thoughts as to why.![]()

I heard about this last week listening to Lou and Nathan's MouseTunes Podcast.I didn't make a big deal about it because of how obsessive I can get about TNBC, but it's good to see some other DWT/Nightmare freaks.

Better start the countdown to October 20th...Let's see, that's only 6 days before my 25th birthday, I wonder what I'll be doing to celebrate this year?
