We are not planning to go, but I do want to see it.

I do like to hold off all the Christmas stuff till the day after Thanksgiving. ( like putting up the Christmas Tree!!)

Things I have learned living in ARKANSAS
    1. Possums sleep in the middle of the road with their feet in the air.
    2. There are 5,000 types of snakes and 4,998 live in ARKANSAS.
    3. We have four seasons: Almost Summer, Summer, Still Summer and Christmas.
    4. A carbonated soft drink is not a soda, cola or pop...It's a 'coke' regardless of brand or flavor. Ex...What kind of 'Coke' do you want?
    5. People actually grow and EAT okra!!
    6. Sweet Iced Tea is appropriate for all meals.
    7. You have to switch from 'heat' to A/C in the same day.
    8. All the festivals across the state are named for an animal, insect, grain, vegetable or fruit.
    9. You work until you are done or it's too dark to see.
    10. Everyone can't be an Arkansan: You have to be BRAVE to live here!

We're going to the movie on Sunday just because the kids can't wait to see it. Then today it was brought to my attention that one of the local radio stations is already playing christmas music 24/7. I say we just skip past thanksgiving this year and go straight to Christmas.

Jen and I are going with my whole family (Mom, Dad, sister and brother) to see it. Mom wanted us to see it "as a family" so we're going to a matinee this Saturday. I don't mind seeing it before Thanksgiving.

Saw it last night to a sold out show. All of the shows sold out over the weekend. Funny, ties up all of the movies very well, Tim Allen and Martin Short are really good. Although we did enjoy the movie we all felt like something was missing from it. Maybe we were just expecting too much due to all of the positive comments we have heard leading up to it. It is a good holiday movie so we still give it a thumbs up.

We did love the preview for Deck the Halls looks really funny!

Thumbs up Fun family holiday movie

We had a great time seeing SC3 this weekend! It ended up being my whole family (as mentioned before) + my aunt and her two boys, so we all took up a whole row.

It was nice hearing my family laugh, especially my little cousins (5 & 7) and there were plenty of laughs throughout the movie. Tim Allen and Martin Short were hillarious together and the rest of the cast did a great job too. We all enjoyed it and I'm glad we went as a family.

I won't write more because I don't want to spoil anything. Feel free to PM me is you want to hear more.

I give this movie 4 Santas (out of 5):
