    Red face Awww shucks....

    I just returned from the mailbox and much to my surprise there was a lovely addressed envelope to me from our one and only Miss April! I was at a loss for words when I opened the envelope to find a Creative Keepsakes Scrapbooking Challenge book and a beautifully handmade card. This was a very unexpected, unnecessary, but much appreciated surprise!

    I cannot wait to look through the book and apply some of the ideas to my LO's this weekend!

    April, your card making abilities amaze and inspire me! I like the chalking technique on the torn paper! I've done it before on LO's, but didn't think of using it on a card before I received yours, so thanks for that!

    Thank you from the bottom of my heart. That was a very thoughtful thing for you to do.

    Okay, you're right. I take it back...I deserve it and much, much more! Just kidding, I'm gonna work on the calendar right now. Hopefully it will take my mind off of Sanjaya's singing.

    This was the card. I made it in a class. The paper is all KI Memories, the ribbon is American Craft, the rub on Making Memories, and the ink was Colorbox Cat's eye chalk ink.

    No basketball on tonight. I got the boys down and I'm watching Idol. I had to come here cause the slave driver posted a ton of challenges and I had to earn my book by updating the calendar!
