    Hi there! Thanks!!!

Let me sleep on a challenge and see what I can come up with. I woke up really early today (3:30am) and it's now 10:39 and I just finished with the weekly speed scrap I host over at Digi Scrap Station and I'm just about ready for bed. But I'm sure I can come up with something. Now... whether it'll be good or not remains to be seen.

Anyway.. here's what I did tonight for the Digi Scrap Station speed scrap. It's not Disney, but I guess we can't all be Lou and head down to WDW several times a year on "research".

You would think that since I'm hosting it I'd gear it towards things that I'm comfortable doing. But as I was writing down the directions, the use of 8 embellies just came to me and so I wrote it down. Then I had a TIME figuring out how to do that. LOL Anyway.. here it is. Click the image if you want to read journaling or check out the credits.

    Great page!

I look forward to the challenge. It's the challenges that keep me getting pages done. LOL!

    Thanks!

Okay,.... here's a challenge. Don't know if y'all have done this one before or not but I figured I'd give it a shot.

Challenge: Get inspired by Disney lyrics. It can be a title or a whole song. But let the lyrics inspire your page.

I've done a couple in the past which I'm going to post here (click image for credits), but I'll do a new one for this challenge. Do y'all put any kind of timeframe on your challenges?

Great challenge! So far, we've taken about a week to do each challenge. I'll try to post my layout by this weekend!

Sounds good! So I'll have something done by this weekend too. Maybe I'll use this as one of the requirements on that speed scrap I host. I could say that the title of the page has to be a lyric from a song. Yeah, that'd be killing two birds with one stone

    Hi everyone!

I'm a great fan of scrapbooking (in the physical sense), but I'm not familiar with digi-scrapbooking. I read through this thread in its entirety, but I'm still confused. What exactly is digi-scrapbooking?

    Thanks!

That's a layout where you make with a paper(background), put some photos and add some elements to complete your art. Look this and then ask me any question if you need.

Digi-Scrapping (which is what I call it) looks like it could be fun but, I am partial to all of the 3-D embellishments and being able to use my hands. You know what I mean ?

Plus, I dn't think I culd do some of those layouts .

There are great software programs out there for digi scrapping, to help you with pages. Plus, I like to add shadows to my embellishments & photos to add the dimension missing due to not being real paper.

For me digi scrapping is something I can do due to the time it takes. I used to love paper scrapping, but cannot find the time for it like I used to.

Thanks so much for your sweet comment Ceci!

btg - I use a few different things for digi scrapping, depending on what I'm working on. I use adobe photoshop, LifeTimez software (a limited edition version of Memory mixer), and I also became a Heritage Makers consultant.

I use photoshop when I want to really play or use digi templates.

I use LifeTimez when I'm in a hurry or away from the internet.

I use Heritage Makers for gifts, cards, posters, for printing my books when I'm done, and when I'm wanting to complete an entire project in a shorter amount of time than just playing. LOL!

Hope that all makes sense! Send me a pm if you have questions.

PS. LOVE your Capt. Jack photo!!!!!

I'm starting to digital scrapbook. But I have so many paper disney products I'd like to use in my digital pages. Can you scan them to use them? Anyone have any advice. Could we start a digital scrapbook forum? I think it would encourage others to try it. thanks.
