Baby Scrapbook for a Great Grandmother!

My mom and I are going out tonight to get some baby pictures of my 1st cousin once removed (lol) that I had printed at Costco and then heading to Michale's purchase an 8x8 album and paper and embellisments and a new die for my cuddlebug. I'm going to make a brag book / scrapbook for my grandmother. Kyllie (new baby) is her first Great Grandchild (by blood) and she only has some pictures of Kyllie from my computer on photopaper, which will fade over the years. So I'm really excited about doing this for her, she will be thrilled! I know it! Can't wait for her to get it. And My cousin and his wife are getting Kyllies first pictures taken this saturday while my cousin is still at home from Irag. So I'm going to get those and put some in the book also. Can't wait for 7:00pm to get here! lol

Any advice for a baby scrapbook?

This is so thoughtful of you Tiffany. That baby is gorgeous and I know you will do a great job on the scrapbook. If great gran has a computer, maybe you can make her a photofile screensaver with baby pics. so it pops a new one up there every couple of minutes.

Thanks Chris. Nope she doesn't own a computer and doesn't know how to turn one on lol. Nither does my mom lol. Thanks for the suggestion tho!

I'm sure they are great.

I have done an A to Z baby scrapbook before. You can get those die cut letters in a box at any crafts store. One on each page.

A is for adorable.
B is for baby boy. (not in this case, but you get the idea)
C is for cutie patootie.
D is for darling.
E is for Every wish granted.

Something like that. I put the letter in the bottom corner of the page, with a ribbon behind every word that matched the letter. 8 x 8 is a perfect size to do one photo per page and embellishments up the sides, or along the top, wherever you wished!

I got the scrapbook done and she has it now, I do think she likes it. I told her I will be continuing to work on it throughout the years. The baby got her pictures taking on Saturday so My cousins wife will be sending me two, one for the scrapbook and one for my family. Let me upload the rest of the pictures and I'll post them.
