Hi all-
On our next trip, my wife plans to pin trade with the hopes of placing the pins in our vacation scrapbook. Does anyone have any creative ideas for doing this? Ideally, we'd like to keep the pins intact.

Hi all-

The only way I've gotten pins to work in a scrapbook is to break the pin back off. It you leave it on it created major dents in the other pages. I just pop the pin part off and adhere with some glue dots.
I would also suggest sticking to pins that are only one level, two at the most. The thicker the pin the more it dents other pages.
I do not know if this will work but what if you put a piece of styrofoam covered in felt on the page...It will make it stick out a bit though.
Maybe you could make a scrapbook out of foamboard and cut out an impression so each pin is flush when you close the book.
That is the same thing I do. I am usually looking for a specific pin that I know I am going to use for scrapbooking, so it doesn't bother me to break the pin back off. I find myself doing this mostly for Star Tours and Jedi Training LO's since finding Star Wars embellishments is very difficult.
If you use the 'post' style scrapbooks, you could put a piece of cardboard at the back with the pins on that. They wouldn't be with the LO's though.
