Hey NAdia, I am doing something right now, but I wanted to let you know that I will try to answer this post tomorrow...
I just wanted to ask all of you professionals out there...
What does it mean when something is acid free?
And also, for those of you who use the page protectors, what kinds of paper do you buy (aka the thick sturdy kind) to put into the page protectors? I've seen some peoples work and it's just magnificent! I'm eager to start!
please help

Hey, welcome to DWT.com!!! And welcome to the scrapbooking section - once you start, you will be hooked!
Basically, when you are doing a scrapbook, you want to use acid free materials - that way, they won't eat away your photographs. The acid can break down the chemicals in the print and wear away your image - that isn't fun! Most craft stores will carry the acid free and photo safe materials.
As for paper, it is really your choice. I have the page protectors, so I don't have to use such sturdy a card stock. It is really a preference. Some people use stuff that is "interactive", as in you open a window to see a picture or something like that. Can't have that in a page protector, or you wouldn't be able to open it. You might want to use a heavier card stock for something like that.
I can't wait to see your work - check out our photo albums on this site to see what we have done. Most of us are ok with you "borrowing" ideas, as immitation is the sincerest form of flattery!

I have another question
Is there an easier way to get to a member's photo album than going to photos and clicking member photos and typing their user name in?
Thanks
