If you put paper towards the edge, sand it off to make it flush to the rock.
Congratulations! You have your first altered item!
I have been working on some garden saying rocks that I hope to sell and was in scrap mode so thot I would see if this would work out and it gave me something to do while waiting for Stitch's next challenge.
Had the brightidea
to scrapbook a rock. LOL YEAH YEAH, it sounds weird but it is actually coming along pretty neato. I will post a crappy(blame the cheap camera) pic when I am done.
I had some paver rocks( the kind you use for sidewalks and patios) so I thot it might be easier to try it out on one of them since they are flat as opposed to the sandstone I am using for the saying ones. I am using Aleene's tacky glue to put everything on and to seal it with before double sealing it with a spray to waterproof it(i hope). The tacky glue gets gummy when wet but the spray should protect it. Also I am using only paper copies of pictures and adding some demensional paint for ummmphhh! The tacky glue should help not make the pics bleed when sprayed.
One thing I have learned so far...dont put the paper up to the edge of the rock...YEESH it is really hard to seal the edge.
SOOOOO! Anyone else up to trying to scrapbook something other then a regular page in a book? Or if you have done anything else bizarre post a pic. I would love to see it.

Thanks. I was thinking what a neat way to display your pics. No dragging out albums when someone comes over, they would walk right past them on the way to the front door. LOL
Heydid you make a copy/scan of the framed pirate picture you did????
