Checking in at BCV...

Just an FYI - You can now check in at the Beach Club Villa lobby instead of the Beach Club Resort lobby if you are staying at BCV. They were testing this in January when were here but we didn't know it that time and this time there is a huge sign as you go into the main resort pointing DVC members to the BCV lobby.
This worked really good! It was faster than the main lobby check in. I don't know if other DVC resorts like Boardwalk or Wilderness lodge are doing the same.

Any idea if non-DVC members who booked BCV, paying with cash, can also use this checkin, or is it DVC-member-only?

This check in area has been discontinued. They will be taking all check-ins at the front desk in the Main beach club resort check-in. I guess the trial run with the one over at the villas did not work for them or the guests.

Dang! I was all about the faster checkin.

But it's all good. I'm just excited to be staying at BCV in August! Can't wait!!! We stayed at Beach Club resort last year and loved it...especially the location to Epcot.

It was a great idea to do that, but they couldn't always do everything to get you a room where you wanted, so I guess it's better this way.
