I would highly recomend the Boardwalk. Its location is great. Its close to Epcot,ESPN club and Jelly Rolls.
I have never stayed DVC before. In fact, the only hotels I remember staying at is the All-Star Music and Pop Century (stayed at the Carribbean Resort once when I was little, when it was actually considered at Value resort.) I am planning a week long vacation for June 2010 with a couple of my best girl friends from high school. Once of them is a DVC owner, so we are using her family's points for hotel accomidations. In your opinion, what is the best DVC resort for three 23 year olds to stay at? Thanks a lot!![]()

Running Goofy again in 2013!!
I've stayed at Saratoga Springs, and leave next week for Kidani Village. I have toured Old Key West and Bay Lake Tower. If you can get into Bay Lake Tower, do it. The Contemporary has a great location and great service to Downtown Disney!
Good Luck!

It depends what those particular three 23-year-olds want...
If you like Epcot a lot, and would want to be able to just walk over there at any time (assuming you have a park hopper pass), Beach Club or Boardwalk. Boardwalk has a more lively evening atmosphere, Beach Club is more laid back. And you can even walk to DHS from there as well. If you are foodie or beer and wine, this might be a good pick because of all the variety.
If you are of course a Magic Kingdom fan, there is the new Bay Lake Towers. You can also monorail hop to the Poly and GF to visit.
Animal Kingdom Villas have great theming, good restaurants, nice but small bar...but it is a bit out of the way. You need to take transportation to get anywhere.
For a more laid-back, less hotel-like experience, there is Old Key West and Saratoga Springs. Both are great for golfers, and you can either take a boat or (from SSR) walk to Downtown Disney if you like shopping. I'd say these would have been a real good destination for you two years ago, when Pleasure Island still was something more than a couple restaurants and a bunch of closed clubs...![]()

Ok, honestly, if you are driving, I would say Beach Club..... you can park right outside the doors... you can't at boardwalk.... have to valet or park very far away... Boardwalk is the better nightlife is you are staying Friday and Saturday.... those are the only 2 nights there is action; otherwise, the pool at Beach club can't be beat!! and Beaches and Cream!!! the Kitchen Sink!!! you deserve that! also, Beach club is a closer walk to Epcot which you probably will spend more time at than HS. Love the BC ---you can always walk over to boardwalk and ESPn.....![]()

30+ visits and still adding them on!

The beach club sounds like it would be a great place to stay and close to the boardwalk and epcot. I think the DVC member friend is leaning towards Saratoga because it's near DTD. I would like something with a little more "themey", but ultimately it's her choice, since it's her points. Thoughts on Saratogo?

Saratoga is a decent resort. It's huge. If you like pools, here is a video we recently did to highlight the SSR pools. I'm sure a lot of people on this board will have their thoughts as well.

Thanks for the link to the video. I am thinking that we would like to spend a day at WDW away from the parks just chilling out around the resort, especially pool side.

Are you allowed to "pool jump" at different DVC resorts? I know you can't normally, but I thought I had heard somewhere that you can with DVC.
