    question about DVC Studios

    we are looking to rent points for the Boardwalk DEC. 2010. i have 4 "adults" and a 5 year old. can i still book the room in a studio or will they make me upgrade to a 1 bedroom suite?

    May 2008 - Saratoga Springs
    Dec. 2008 - All Star Movies - Engaged
    Dec. 2009 - Port Orleans Riverside
    Dec. 2010 - Bay Lake Tower (new dvc members)
    August 2011 - Beach Club Villas
    Disney Dream Cruise
    September 2011 - Animal Kingdom Villas

    Unfortunately, the studio rooms can only accommodate up to 4 guests and a child under three. If you want to stay at a Deluxe Villa Resort with points, you'll have to go up to the 1 bedroom villa - and in some of the older Villa Resorts, a 2 bedroom villa. A few of the older villa resorts only have a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room (and not the sleeper chair that is now part of the living room in the new villa resorts) - so they can only accommodate 4 as well.

    To be specific, BLT, AKV (except "value" class) and GCV 1BR can accommodate 5 with the sleeper chair - all others are limited to 4.

    the five person per room accommodations are a nice bonus of the newer resorts

    I have stayed with 4 people and as long as an infant sleeps in the playpen, you can have 5 technically. You have to state that when making the ressie

    30+ visits and still adding them on!
