What's your favorite DVC resort to stay at?

I've only stayed at all the DVC resorts at WDW, so my ranking would be:

1) BLT
2) BWV
3) BCV
4) VWL
5) AKV
6) SSR
7) OKW

I haven't stayed at VGC yet, but I think it will rank somewhere in the top 3.

I haven't stayed at VB or HHI either.

What I like about my top 5 choices:

1) BLT

• Location! You can walk to the Magic Kingdom
• Views! Fantastic views of the MK and Bay Lake (and Wishes!)
• On the Monorail! Access to other deluxe resorts
• Dining! California Grill and access to great dining at GF/Poly
• Top of the World Lounge! I love the view of the world from on high

2) BWV

• Location! You can walk to Epcot and boat to DHS
• Views! Great views of Crescent Lake and YC/BC
• The Boardwalk Midway!
• Dining! At all the Epcot resorts and inside Epcot, including Flying Fish Cafe on the BW!

3) BCV

• Location! You can walk to Epcot and boat to DHS
• Stormalong Bay! The best feature pool at WDW
• Dining! At all the Epcot resorts and inside Epcot, including Yactsman Steakhouse and Beaches & Cream
• Sandy Beach on Crescent Lake with views of the Boardwalk

4) VWL

• Magnificently rendered theme!
• The Lodge! Peaceful and romantic
• Just a relaxing boat ride away from the MK

5) AKV

• The animals on the Savanna!
• Great exotic theme!
• A feeling of remoteness! relax away from the Parks
• Great dining! Jiko, Boma and Sanna

The BIG one/two bedroom villas. The beautiful landscaping and the big patios/balconies to enjoy it from. No long hallways-parking right outside. Low points. Only downside is climbing the stairs.

Oops... Old Key West

My favorite is definitely Saratoga, Love the food, pool, and location (can walk or ferry to downtown Disney).
Old Key West is a close 2nd - very quite, not as many kids, and the rooms are HUGE!

We stayed at many DVC resorts. However as compare together “Bay Lake Tower” has top position in my favorite resorts list of DVC because it is close to all my favorite sites like Magic Kingdom, California Grill etc. Moreover, resort has spotless rooms, ideal atmosphere and amenities as well.

Love AKV. The relaxing atmosphere and "dark" feel are great to unwind.

I can't pick! I own @ SSR & AKLV, and I love them both for different reasons...We also love BWV and do want to get points there resale, someday, when finances allow.

Been a member since 1994 --- just got back from our first stay at BLT --- Magic Kingdom view and man oh man!!!! Was it the PERFECT room! We watched Hallo-wishes and Wishes fireworks from our balcony every night! We went to sleep staring at the castle and work up watching the park open every morning! It was simply the best stay we have ever had! It exceeded my expectations. BCV was my fav until this past week You gotta save up points and get MK view just once. it is amazing! and the rooms are roomier than at Boardwalk or Beach club ... almost felt like OKW -- wasn't impressed with the tour of the 3BR --- I'd still do OKW 3BR above them all and have

I would go with AKL followed by the Boardwalk

I stayed at BVC for my most recent trip. Loved the location, BC and YC facilities and the ability to walk to Epcot.

SSR is my Home Resort and will alway hold a place in my heart.

I highly recommend Vero Beach. It's Disney without being in Disney. I hope to visit Hilton Head in the coming year.
