Favorite DVC Accomodations...

BWV is my choice. In fact, I think the Boardwalk is hands down the best resort on property.

We bought in to DVC through SS, and love it. However, this past September we stayed at BWV and it was awesome. We had a grand villa on the boardwalk side that had great views. The staff was great, the room was super nice and you can not beat MGM, Epcot access. The thing we really liked over the other DVC resorts was the access to food and other shops, you’re just a 10 to 15 min. walk to more that 20 places to eat (when you include Epcot). That was my only complaint at SS, not enough variety.

Have stayed at OKW, Saratoga Springs and Villas at Wilderness Lodge. SO Far the Villas at Wilderness lodgea re our fqvorites. The Proximity to MK can't be beat, The theming was fantastic and the restauraunts are great.

Last Feb. We took the tour in Saratoga Springs and then in December, We walked the grounds by the water looking over at DTD, and fell in Love with that resort. It was just beautiful, We walked around all of the other DVC Resorts as well for Christmas Tree Photos, and will try staying at them as well.

Have to say BWV was our favorate so far, because of its proxsimity to Epcot, MGM, and the Bordwalk night life. We would like to stay at BCV, for much of the same reasons, but we are staying at SS next time 1)because its our home resort, and 2)it is kind of quiet, and we like that too.

Our Home is SSR, but We were able to change over to BCV's when the 7 month window opened for this September. We are staying at a Dedicated 2 bedroom, so I can't wait to see how great that is!

We just purchased at BCV last year. Our first stay is in June 2007. We liked it because of its location and because we love the BC, SAB, B&C, BW, etc. There's also a "beachy" smell when you go there that I just love. I always know that I'm back at my WDW home when I smell it.

I am sure there are great things to be said about each of the resorts. I have stayed at Saratoga Springs and OKW so far and will be staying at The new Animal Kingdom Villas in January. I am sure this will be another Disney Great Resort!

I have been a member at OKW since 1992 and for me the wow factor is still the size of the one bedrooms - we really enjoy lounging about in them and having drinks on the balcony. I enjoy the ambience of Wilderness lodge and the location of Beach Club / Boardwalk but OKW is very much our preferred home.

I LOVE the Boardwalk...my parents are DVC members (im not cuz im not 18 yet, but i will be buying one as soon as i am financially able to, like when Im married) And the Boardwalk is our home resort....its great! Its always "alive" and there's always somethign to do, even if its going to sit and watch the "monoboats" as i call them, (the Friendship boats really)...its jsut amazing!

Wow, I saw this poll a long time ago and I couldn't vote in it because I was a DVC newbie and hadn't stayed at any yet....I can now say SSR is my favorote....But I have stayed there 4x and just once so far at OKW, and I preferred SSR.

I don't just have one favorite, but four -- AKV, VWL, BCV, and BWL.

As I posted before, we have stayed at SSR. OKW, and AKLV, My question is, does anyone else think they should trim back the trees over at OKW? I have been there 3 or 4 times and each time I went out on the balcony My view was totally blocked by trees. I would have had really nice views of the ponds and fountains that are set up all around the resort. I feel like I am in a cave when I sit out there and see nothing but trees and bushes. I love trees and bushes, don't get me wrong, I just wish that i could get to see the beautiful view the room offers.

Since My last Reply, I have stayed at the boardwalk villas and the villas at Wilderness lodge and wow they are beautiful.....But, My new favorite is at Wilderness lodge. Just a fantastic place to stay, being so close to MK. and the Monorails to Epcot as well. At night the view of the resort lit up is breathtaking! Fun to watch the electric water pageant go by too!
