waiting list

Anyone ever been on the "waiting list" for a particular resort? I booked by vacation for next October and am trying to stay at the BCV but nothing is available at this time. I'm now on the wait list.

Any input regarding the "waiting list" would be great!!

We were on the waiting list once for the Polynesian. This was back in the 90s though... and they called us a few days later saying they found something, so I can't be much help, but hopefully they'll call and let you know soon! If not, I'd call back every so often to check. :-)

I literally just got my confirmation for a studio at the Beach Club which I had waitlisted for last month! I love it!!!

I'm betting it will come through for you since we are so far out and people cancel the closer it gets to the 30 day holding penalty.

I have to say that my two tries with the waiting list didn't work out for me. However, many people have indicated that the waiting list does work out often.

Keep in mind that October is one of the hardest months of the year to book BCV or BWV due to the Food & Wine Festival. The EPCOT area resorts fill up quickly, and this festival has proven to be a very popular draw for DVC owners as well.
