Disneyland and Other Disney Parks Discuss It's a Small Disney World in the Miscellaneous Disney forums; I think this was a great idea. It's a classic attraction, but it was definitely due for an update....

When I read this I thought it was a horrible idea - but then I saw the pictures and I love it! They have done it so well, making the characters fit in with the rest of IASW. I particularly love Simba. Are there any plans to do the same to the WDW version?

    Nope.

Besides, WDW's IaSW already recieved a HUGE rehab a few years ago (it went down for 10-months, starting in May 2004 and reopening in March 2005).

Anyhow, count me in as one of those who agrees that the additions to DL's IaSW appear to be done pretty well and very tastefully and that the hub-bub that the purists initiated was definetely much ado about nothing.

The parks do have to make changes to keep the turnstiles rolling, after all. And Walt was always an "I'll try anything at least once" kind of guy.
