Disneyland park ticket

So my family and I are heading to Disneyland in 7 days!!! I have a question (mite be dumb, but I have to ask it) Just have a question about our park tickets. Do they work they same way the key to the world cards in Florida? Meaning they are plactic cards (we already got them in the mail with our packet) and they have 5 days of park hopper tickets preloaded on them. If we go in and out of the parks in the same day it only takes off one day correct or do we have to get a hand stamp or somthing. Maybe a really weird question but just want to make sure we use them correctly.

They stamp your hand no matter what type of ticket you have.

You can usually sneak out of the parks w/o a hand stamp, but I wouldn't recommend it, unless you're an annual passholder!

It's always a bit safer to get a stamp just in case there is a problem w/ your ticket.
