I think the new World of Color light and water show at California Adventure is going to absolutely spectacular! I really think it's going to be much much better than Fantasmic! or any other show they've ever done before.

From what I saw at the Blue Sky "room" at California Adventure I agree. If it's half as good as the "preview" it's going to be great

I can't wait to see this come! I have not been to CA Adventure in years, and so seeing this seems like it would be a real treat. The colors and the projections seem to be really beautiful, for the pictures are breathtaking. I just can't wait for it's arrival.

Just curious, does anyone know when it is meant to release?

I bet you are right. It looks cool. But I am not a loyal Fantasmic fan.
Either too expensive to buy a dinner package, or lines are long and have to devote too much time and it was better before they dumbed down.

Hope I get to see this one though.

It is premiering on June 11th, 2010. So, just under a month from now! Might be time to book another flight.

Disney Parks Blog said that they are doing Fastpasses for World of Color. An individual line at the opening gate will be devoted solely to World of Color Fastpasses in the morning. The guests in that line will be walked straight to Grizzly River Run, where GRR Fastpasses will be replaced by WoC Fastpasses for a few hours in the morning.

I'm not exactly sure how this is going to work giving Fastpasses to an open seating event like this, unless it's like priority seating or something.

What will happen is you will be assigned to a section for watching the show. Before the show starts they will let folks into their assigned sections, but there will not be any assignments as to where to stand in the section. First come, first served when you get in the area.
