What is the 2fer deal?
I don't know what you guys do with this and who actually uses this. I was just curious as to how many people use this marketing tool from Disneyland? I know that WDW tries to get people by using the combined amount of all the parks, but from what I know do they do advertisments like this? I know, something small, but something that I am curious about.
What is the 2fer deal?
There was one year I actually was able to take a friend and his 3 kids to Disneyland on the 2 fer deal. It was the ONLY way they could afford to see both parks!
The "2fer" ticket is a special ticket to disneyland usually sold over the early spring (Feb-april ish - don't quote me on that, but it usually ends mid april). This specially priced ticket ($74/adult), allows for 1 person to enter 1 theme park/day for 2 days. THIS IS NOT A PARK HOPPING TICKET! It's basically getting a 1 park/day ticket for 2 days - for the price of a 1 day 1 park ticket.
If that's confusing, let me try to shed some light on it this way.
A Disneyland Resort 1 park 1 day ticket runs $74/adult
A Disneyland Resort 1 day parkhopper ticket (including admission to DCA and DL in the same day) is $91.
So, for the price of a 1 day, 1 park adult admission, Guests can visit Disneyland and then come back on another day for DCA.
Does that help?
It's a very useful option for those who want to try the parks and consider upgrading to a monthly payment plan annual pass. The price of the ticket is $1 short of the down payment required to start a Premium Annual Pass payment plan.

I actually like the 2fer deal. My husband and I have gone a few times with this deal. The best was last year for my birthday cause I got the free admission for my bday and I got the 2fer upgrade for free as well. We got to spend 2 days and go to both parks for just the cost of a one day ticket for my husband. It was pretty cool.
