this would definitely speed up any European vacation i would plan... maybe 3 weeks... 2 weeks abroad and one at euro Disney...
Apologies if this has been done before. Caught this in the business section of a national newspaper today and thought it might be of interest to the Disneyland Paris fans. I have never been myself (barely visited continental Europe at all actually), but am more and more tempted... if only to spend the day simply riding and re-riding Phantom Manor and Pirates.
The newspaper I found the article in operates a pay-wall on its online edition, so a quick Google sweep revealed a similar one:

I probably will not be heading to Europe anytime soon, but a trip to Disney there would definitely be a reason to go.
I'm interested to see how this 3rd park pans out - I think at this time, there is still a lot of work to be done at Walt Disney Studios, as well as some much-needed care for the original park before Disney should even think about opening a third gate. That said, if the proposed new park is in the form of a water park, I'll be eager to see this open ASAP - DLRP would greatly benefit from this kind of expansion, although I would imagine it would have to be an under-cover affair, due to the varied weather experienced in Paris.

Does anyone know how much land space that Euro Disney owns or has access to over there?

i think i read somewhere that they have an agreement with the French gov't... but the gov't has to agree to let them build on any land...

if you read the beginning part of the article it mimics what i had heard...
"Euro Disney has signed a new deal with the French government that gives the theme park operator the option to build a new complex on undeveloped land east of Paris within the next 20 years.
Euro Disney has until 2030 to build a third park in the Marne-la-Vallée region to add to the original Disneyland Paris, opened in 1992, and the neighbouring Walt Disney Studios, which opened in 2002."
so it seems the gov't has to give Disney the ok...
