Heading to Disneyland Paris for the first time
So, I've set up a last minute trip to Disneyland Paris. I don't agree with their policies about not being able to change rooms so I can at least experience a few during my stay rather than just one. And this nonsense about having to buy length-of-stay passes is ridiculous. What if my train arrives late in the evening and the park is closed. Are these fools still going to sell me a three-day pass? Does this mean I can get a third breakfast at 11pm, then? It should. Dopes.
Anyway, you've got less than 24hrs to let me know if I can bring back a park map or something while I'm there. Doesn't leave much time, I realize, but I just got back from another international trip to Germany and I didn't have internet until yesterday.
PM me or post here and I'll gladly bring back napkins, maps, plates, or whatever else will (safely) travel home without getting crushed or damaged. In other words, no drinking cups, please.

I am so beyond jealous. :)

WOW!!! That's what I call a last minute trip!!! I never heard of their rules before....good to know.....have a wonderful time!!!
Re: Heading to Disneyland Paris for the first time
WOW!So jeaulos! Have fun!
Re: Heading to Disneyland Paris for the first time
Thanks everyone. I'm arriving on Monday sometime (haven't figured out the logistics just yet) and staying at the Disneyland Hotel (wonderful way to blow 98 DVC points on a non-DVC room... these French have quite the gimmic going). Anyway, I'll try to smuggle back as many maps as I can, just in case people decide they'd like one or two for their own collections. Still leave a PM or something here if you want in, though, just in case I can check once I arrive in the UK.

Having a better time than expected, though DLP is VERY much a one-and-done park experience. Trip report when I get back to America. I'll still be in France today and tomorrow morning, heading back to England until Thursday, with a mid-day flight. Then it's back to work on Friday, just in time for a nice, and hopefully relaxing, weekend.

Re: Heading to Disneyland Paris for the first time
No problem, Joe. I received a few PMs before my inbox filled up (again), but I did grab a handful of each, so I can hook some people up with a set of maps and guides.
Back in England now. Flight back home is early tomorrow afternoon. Then the Mike-esque bitterness shall flow in my trip report.
Re: Heading to Disneyland Paris for the first time
thats awesome... thanks mike... have an awesome time in England... hope you have alot to tell when you get back...
Re: Heading to Disneyland Paris for the first time
I am soooooo looking forward to this report. I am going to be hella-disappointed if it isn't a bitter, sarcastic one at every turn.
Re: Heading to Disneyland Paris for the first time
You know mike won't disappoint us...

I will be very interested in what you have to say about this park because my sister in law and her husband live in the UK and we were thinking about a trip to the UK, France and Italy. If you have an extra map, that would be cool, if not, my fault for not saying something in time.

I will absolutely save a map for you.

What would be some tips you have as a first time visitor to DLP? I'm a seasoned WDW veteran, but will be visiting DL and DLP later this year.
