So, with a week to go until we fly out to LAX, thought I would share with you mine and Matt's plans for our 16-night extravaganza in the USA - VERY EXCITED! Here's what we've got squeezed in:

18th August Fly out to LA

19th August Disney D23 Expo at the Anaheim Convention Center
Disneyland in the Evening

20th August Disney D23 Expo at the Anaheim Convention Center
Disney’s California Adventure in the Evening

21st August Disney D23 Expo at the Anaheim Convention Center
Downtown Disney
Los Angeles by Night Tour

22nd August Tour around Warner Brothers Studio Lot in Hollywood
Movie Star Homes Tour
Beverly Hills
Downtown Disney

23rd August Disneyland
Disney’s California Adventure

24th August Grand Tour of Los Angeles (including Sunset Boulevard and Rodeo Drive)
Venice Beach
Downtown Disney

25th August Orange County Beach Bus Tour (Huntington Beach, Laguna Beach)
3-hour whale watching boat trip at Newport Beach
California Adventure
Downtown Disney

26th August San Diego Zoo including VIP Backstage Tour
Anaheim Garden Walk

27th August Disneyland
California Adventure

28th August Our 7th Wedding Anniversary
Fly from LA to New York
Anniversary dinner in Times Square

29th August New York City Downtown Tour (including Ground Zero, Chinatown, Flatiron District, Carnegie Hall and Rockefeller Center)
Time Square Disney Store, Muppet What Not Workshop (making our own Muppets!!) and FAO Schwartz

30th August New York Uptown Treasures and Harlem Tour (including Theater District, Central Park, Natural History Museum, Harlem Market and Guggenheim Museum)
Lion King musical in the evening on Broadway (Minskoff Theater)

31st August Brooklyn Tour
3-Hour Harbor Cruise
New York by Night Tour

1st September Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island
Empire State Building
Empire State Skyride

2nd September Matt’s Birthday
Central Park Zoo
Madame Tussauds
Ripley’s Believe It Or Not
Cirque Du Soleil ‘Zarkana’ show at Radio City Music Hall

3rd September Top of the Rock
Tour of the NBC Studios
Grand Central Station
Last minute shopping/grockling
Fly back to London in the evening

Plus various visits to the Disney Store in Times Square (of course!) I think we may need another holiday to get over this one - LOL!

Sounds awesome, Cara! I know you'll have a good time, though you will be tired as heck by the end of it all. At least you will sleep on your way back home! PM me when you get a chance.

Are you driving to San Diego and then back to Anaheim for. Garden tour? Traffic is challenging and the Zoo is a several hour experience

Yes, San Diego Zoo is a full day expereince!! And dont forget it is about an hour and some drive back and forth from Anaheim to SD!!

We're being very lazy and are booked on a coach excursion from our hotel to the Zoo and back again - so all the times etc are scheduled in for us. We're having dinner at Anaheim Garden Walk about 9pm that evening, so according to the times given to us by the tour company, we should have several hours in between to spare.

Sounds great Cara

So many things on there remind me of our NYC trip in April.

The bus tours are excellent if you get a good guide; I took SO many photos of architecture on the Uptown tour. Ellis Island is fascinating too.

We were there for 9 nights and were exhausted by the time we came home. The noise and chaos can be a little overwhelming but since coming home and reminiscing about the place I can't wait to go back
