We are doing cardio every other day and then we do light weight training.I have only made it up to running a half mile.We just started in Jan.Speed walking my pace is now 17.08 per mile.Plus I'm loosing weight so..... IN March we are doing a heart walk/run so there we can get a feel of how its going to be.

No started in Jan 08,had a fall back last year I fell and hurt one of my knees,and had minor surgery.I was off my feet for two months so I had to start over. Thanks!!!!!!

I would just work on building a base right now. That means walk for time more than distance. Once you build your endurance, you can slowly add your speed workouts once a week.
Don't forget the 10% rule. That means don't increase your weekly or longest day more than 10% in a week.
Get rest and slowly build up and you will be fine![]()
You can definitely do it! Wait until you get to that "I'm addicted" stage of excercising. You won't believe it, but it will happen and it will make you feel you incredible.
