    Hi Jonathon,
This is my first post so I am not yet allowed to place links. You can find lots of information and inspiration by searching for the disneyrunning.com web site. It is full of useful information, photos, and course maps all related to the races held at WDW.
If you go to this site be sure to check out a video provided by a half marathon runner named Kevin Yee. It is an edited video of his run from this past January.

Stay positive and you can do it!!!!.

You have plenty of time to get your pace to the 16 min miles required for the Half. Remember that the last cut point is at 10 miles so that is your last hurdle to finishing.

I would just work on building a base right now. That means walk for time more than distance. Once you build your endurance, you can slowly add your speed workouts once a week.

Don't forget the 10% rule. That means don't increase your weekly or longest day more than 10% in a week.

Get rest and slowly build up and you will be fine

    Go Get 'em Johnathan!

You can definitely do it! Wait until you get to that "I'm addicted" stage of excercising. You won't believe it, but it will happen and it will make you feel you incredible.

What a great endeavor, Jonathan! I just emailed some support, and hope others can do the same!

Gutsy move letting everyone in on it . . . it's a great way to succeed, though.

Good luck! Although I think marathoners are half-nuts as it is. I admire their drive, though! (Maybe I'm just jealous. . .)
