The "official" meet may not be after the race since everyone, in particular, our cheering section, may not be able to be there....

From my understanding you must have seperate Tickets for the exclusive post-race party at Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park. from 10 p.m. - 12 a.m. which is included in the Race packet for participants.

Do our supporter have tickets? I know you can purchase up to two additional tickets when registering, but I am not sure if you can get them after the fact.

Does any one know about this?

Also, racers may want to just enjoy the after party festivities that night.

I am looking into possible meet times and also taking into consideration how and when people may be preparing for the race.

I will update the list in the morning.

BTW... We have a very special T-Shirt in the works for this Race day

I know we haven't got tickets or anything yet!... I keep popping in here to read what the plans are and where we may be able to meet up!

It looks as though only racers can buy those tickets because I was trying to access that yesterday, and there was only a section for entering the race - unless I missed something. The cheering section can work at trying to be in the same area. I think yelling "Mongello" might get DTW runners alerted to our presence.

I'm sure there was something in the booking process that said if you wish to purchase tickets at a later date you can...I'll have a look at everything I have when I get back home (am at work now).

Am really looking forward to this, and to meeting some fellow WDW Trivia fans!

Can spectators purchase tickets to the race party? Yes. Tickets for the race party are $25 for adults and $15 for children and can be purchased during registration or via the link at Expedition Everest Challenge - Event Info

Where is the race party located and at what time? The race party will be held at Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park from 10pm – 12am.

What attractions are included with the party? Khali River Rapids® Attraction, Dinoland U.S.A.® Area, and Expedition Everest™ Attraction will be open for the party.

Virginia, you and I and Rich & Ann will definitely have to cheer together! I can't wait to hear Rich yelling "Mongello" in a proper British accent

combined with my NY one (YO! Monjella!)

Ooohhh...my ears just perked right up. Coupons - AirTran - where would one find such a thing? I'm dreading booking my airfare this year. The last two years, I've flown AirTran round trip for about $150. No way I'm gonna get that this year.
