We met so many wonderful people this year we can't wait to do it all again!

Steve (Born 2B Grumpy) will be running the Goofy again in 2011 for the WDWRadio Marathon Team. Let us know if you're planning on running/cheering/attending the Walt Disney World Half/Full Marathon in 2011!

I was thinking of running next year in the half marathon. But I'm a teacher and school will be back in (and there's no chance of getting even a day or two off). I'm just not quite financially stable enough to justify flying down for just one weekend (not to mention I would have to get into florida LATE friday night). Maybe one year it will happen...

I wish but with the cruise and now a possible trip to DL I don't see me swinging marathon weekend next year. Bugger!! But I'll be cheering from home!

I have run the half two years in a row and not sure I am going to do it again. Its pretty $$$$ for a race and this year I felt like I was 'packed' in there all along that course, especially on that road by the GF. I think Disney has let the thing get too big for me.

I have to take these things one at a time. If you would have asked me about Princess before the Goofy this year, I would have said probably not, but guess what I'm doing the Princess now. I can't get enough of the Disney races. They give me something to work toward and to be excited about.

Let's just say I will do everything in my power to be there, but like Lori said with so many other trips around that time, this may be the year that I have to skip it. I definitely will not be doing Goofy. I'll have to see about the Half or full.

My hubby and I are doing the half. This will be our first race...ever. We're really excited, though. Mary Jo, I have to say that you have definitely inspired me and I thank you for the fb message a few weeks ago.

After listening to a couple of Podcasts about the Marathon Weekend and how much fun everyone had, I decided I wanted to give it a try. When I told my wife about it, she thought it was a great idea and wanted to join me. Neither one of us are runners and both out of shape. I am close to 40 years old and figured if I was going to try it, then I better do it now. Since it gives us a goal and a timeline, we figured this would motivate us to get our tails in gear and start working out. Having a chance to run through the Disney Parks motivates me even more. Hope we can make it and can't wait to meet all of you.

It's a great strategy to register for a race that's almost a year away then work towards that goal. If you decide to get in shape before thinking of signing up for a race the years can slip away.
